Update: In Caz, town council incumbents edge out challenger
11/04/09 Unofficial results from the Madison County Board of Elections now place Democratic and Strong Community candidate incumbent Kristi Andersen and Republican incumbent Patrick Race as winners, just edging out Republican challenger Walt Joncas. As of Wednesday morning, Joncas had 1,065 votes, Race had 1,550 votes and Andersen had 1,109 votes. Some absentee ballots have not yet been counted. No one has yet conceded in the town council race. Republican, Independence and Conservative party candidate Ralph M. Monforte won the supervisor position with 1,751 votes. Republican town clerk candidate Linda Mather received 1,689 votes.
