![]() Apr 24 Soule Library Presents “FLUTESSENCE”staff reports 04/24/09 Soule Library proudly presents “Flutessence,” a High School Flute Ensemble. The flute concert is directed by John Oberbrunner, and will perform on May 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Soule Branch Library, 101 Springfield Road. {Q}“Flutessence” is a flute choir composed of the finest high school flutists in the Central New York area, under the direction of former Syracuse Symphony Orchestra Principal Flutist, John Oberbrunner{Q}, performing at flute festivals, libraries and various other concert venues. New members are accepted by audition in September. Prospective members must have a recommendation from their flute teacher, and be willing to make a year’s commitment to the group.
