Cornell Cooperative Extension has partnered with Edward Jones, a financial advisory firm to offer a series of summer financial and investment workshops.
The third part of the program, Education Savings- What You Need to Know will be held at 6 p.m. Monday Aug. 20 A mutual fund representative will introduce participants to: 529 Savings Plans, Traditional and Roth IRAs, 401k plans and how to assess your financials.
These free workshops are open to all Cayuga County residents and will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension office, located at 248 Grant Avenue, Auburn. Participants are urged to attend all three sessions, but programs will be conducted independently. Refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is required and bring a friend.
