Olympics wrap up B'ville school year

Students at Palmer and Van Buren elementary schools each held their own version of the summer Olympics the week of June 15. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade participated in various athletic activities such as tug of war, sack races and miniature golf. The Olympics are an annual event at Palmer and Van Buren to cap off the school year and to give students an opportunity to demonstrate school spirit and teamwork.
