Visit from SSO in B'ville

Barbie Mosher, a third-grader at Van Buren Elementary School, tries to play the trumpet with help from John Raschella, a musician with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. Looking on is trumpet player Ryan Barwise. Raschella and Barwise were at the school Oct. 22 performing with a brass quintet from the symphony. The school earned the performance after logging in the most hours in the Central New York area in the Syracuse Symphony Practice Marathon, held last spring.
