In a session Sept. 20 lasting approximately seven minutes, the Clay Town Board adjourned two items and approved three others one of which was the appointment of Richard Guarasce and Ryan Meagher as volunteer members with the Clay Volunteer Fire Department.

The appointments make the fire department more than 40 members strong.

The board also approved a resolution accepting an easement from Howard W. Snow and Harley D. Snow for the drainage facilities located within the Snow Subdivision.

In other board business, a public hearing was set for 7:35 p.m. Monday Oct. 18 at Town Hall to consider the application of Red Barn Country, LLC, for a change of zone from R-10 One-Family Residential District to R-TH Townhouse District on approximately three and a half acres of vacant land south of Waxwood Circle on the west side of Buckley Road.
