Pumpkin thrown through windshield injures Chittenango woman
11/05/09A Chittenango woman was injured Thursday Nov. 5 when a pumpkin was thrown through her windshield as she was driving westbound on Green Lakes Road near Alverna Heights. The pumpkin was thrown from an oncoming vehicle in the eastbound lane.
The victim was able to stop her vehicle after the pumpkin smashed through the window, covering her in glass. She was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel for glass in her face and eyes, then transported to the hospital.
