In support of Allen Riley for Madison County Sheriff
To the editor:

We are writing this letter in support of Allen Riley for Sheriff of Madison County. We have known Al for the past 27 years, and during this time Al was a member of the New York State Police. I got to know Al personally as an outstanding police officer as I got to work with Al while I was Chief of Police for the Village of Hamilton. Al served in many capacities while in the State police, Al started his career as a uniform trooper, than as a canine officer, training officer and at the time of his retirment as an iinvestigator in the B.C.I.. Al was professinal at all times and most of all a gentleman. Al has all the qualifications for the positiion of Madison County Sheriff. Please vote on Nov. 3rd. and support Al as your next Madison County Sheriff.

Thank you for your support.

Riley has extensive knowledge of county concerns
To the editor:

Allen Riley is a candidate with a stellar resumé that makes him our best choice for Madison County Sheriff. He is a lifetime resident of the county who has worked in every town, village and hamlet, who has an intimate knowledge of our concerns. He and his lovely family also manage a farm in the Town of Lebanon, where they raise beef cattle.

As a New York State Trooper who retired so he could run, he brings 27 years of experience with the most professional police organization in our State. He will make a professional and honest Sheriff of Madison County. Let's all work hard to elect him.

Daughter supports sheriff candidate
To the editor:

Hello, my name is Bekah Riley. I am writing on behalf of my father, Allen Riley, who is running for Madison County Sheriff. By now, I am sure you know about his plans for the county, abundant experience, and numerous qualifications.

But I would like to address a different aspect of Al Riley. I want to talk about him as a person, as my daddy. My father is the best sort of man. Anyone who has met him and known him, understands you cannot help but be changed by him. His many virtues have made me what I am today.

His work ethic taught me the value of a hard day’s work and the satisfaction in earning, not just taking what I am given. His sense of humor encouraged me to truly love life and above all else, enjoy it. He taught me to be independent and stable so that others could rely on me, but also to be strong enough to rely on them when needed. His kindness towards others helped me to see that force is actually the weakest way to earn their respect and support. But most importantly, his high expectations of himself taught me to demand the best of myself as well.

He is my friend, my hero, my confidant, role model, my shoulder to lean on, but most importantly, my daddy. I know he can be and do for this county what he has been and done for me.
