"You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown," the family-friendly musical adaptation of the classic "Peanuts" cartoon, opened last weekend at Cazenovia College. Local students and college students brought iconic characters like Lucy, Charlie Brown, Linus and Snoopy to life.

Performances will continue Friday Nov. 20 through Sunday Nov. 22, at the Catherine Cummings Theatre at Cazenovia College. Curtain for the Friday and Saturday performances is at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinee performances begin at 2 p.m. General admission for all performances is: $12 for adults; $8 for seniors and high school students; $5 for Cazenovia College students with I.D. and for children age 6 and under.

Several local actors are involved with the production. Andrew Dain, of Cazenovia, stars as Charlie Brown; Linus Van Pelt is played by Mike Moolenschot, of Oneida, a Cazenovia College senior; Ian Abernathy, of Cazenovia, is Schroeder; Peppermint Patty is played by Makaily Courtwright, of Manlius; and Pig Pen is played by Kyle Johnson, of Cazenovia.

The show also features several other Cazenovia College student actors.
