Baker students collecting for refugees

Baker High School’s participation in government classes have organized a project, in conjunction with the North Side Neighborhood Center of Catholic Charities, to collect gently used or new items for refugees. The collection will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 5 in the front lobby of Baker High School, located at 29 East Oneida St. in the village of Baldwinsville. Items most needed are: winter coats; sweaters; gloves and mittens; hats; boots; cold weather shoes; warm socks; bedding – blankets, sheets, etc.; silverware; dishes; pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils; and gift cards to purchase snow boots.
