At its regular meeting Thursday Nov. 19 the Village of Jordan Board of Trustees appointed Charles Wolff, of Baldwinsville as its newest police officer. Wolff, 40, is a technical sergeant for the 174th Air National Guard TFW at Hancock Air Base in Mattydale, and recently began a full-time position as a campus peace officer for Syracuse University's Department of Public Safety.
He is also a part-time police officer for the village of Phoenix. Wolff will work part-time for Jordan and brings the Department to it's full staffing of eight part-time officers.
"Chuck brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our Department, and we look forward to having him provide outstanding law enforcement to the Village," said Edward Healy, the village's police officer-in-charge.
