The team will hold a bottle drive Saturday Feb. 13 and money collected will help the team purchase a new racing shell. The girls will be visiting area neighborhoods to collect bottles and cans, but if they miss your neighborhood and you would like to help support the team, bring your returnables to Baldwinsville Bottle and Can Return in River Mall or the Baldwinsville Bottle Redemption Center on Route 370. Let the clerk know you are donating to the Baldwinsville Girls Crew Team.
In addition to the bottle drive, the team will also receive all proceeds from the McDonald’s Jukebox for the month of February. Be sure to play a few songs when you visit the Downer Street McDonalds to help the girls reach their goal of purchasing their new boat.
