B'ville School District seeks community input

Kelly Cary 03/16/10More articles
Budget cuts are impacting all aspects of the education system.

The Baldwinsville Central School District will hold a meeting on the district’s bussing policy from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 30 in the auditorium of Baker High School, located at 29 E. Oneida St.

Jeanne Dangle, superintendent of schools, and James Rodems, assistant superintendent for management services, will discuss the district’s current policy including the bussing of all elementary school students, the related costs and possible solutions to reduce these costs. Community members are invited to offer their comments on the pros and cons of continuing with the current policy, as well as to ask questions at the meeting.

The district is not changing the bussing policy, but is conducting the meeting to receive community input on the policy.
