AXA promotes DiPaola, Bonk
Two lifelong Syracuse residents were recently promoted at AXA Equitable’s Syracuse Operations Center.

David DiPaola was named vice president and solutions delivery director for the enterprise annuity systems. He and his wife Kimberly live in Syracuse with their three children Michael, Timothy and Erin.

Kathleen Bonk was named assistant vice president of data analysis and a lead on the annuity systems integration. She and her husband Jeffrey live in Syracuse with their children Ryan and Alec.


Werbeck joins Green & Seifter
Joshua S. Werbeck has joined Green & Seifter, Attorneys as an associate. Werbeck was a summer associate with Green & Seifter for the summer of 2009.

Werbeck graduated cum laude in 2010 from Syracuse University College of Law and from Siena College in 2007. He was born in Syracuse, grew up in North Syracuse and currently resides in the city of Syracuse.

ProLiteracy names Syracuse VP
ProLiteracy has named Barry Benson as vice president for development and communications of the Syracuse headquarters.
ProLiteracy is the world’s largest organization of adult literacy and basic education programs and recently announced it would relocate its headquarters from East Syracuse to the Near Westside of Syracuse.

Benson has served as the executive director for Literacy Chicago, where he repositioned the organization as a leader in its sector and grew grant revenue by over 500 percent in 18 months.

Benson also held previous development positions at Columbia College Chicago and St. Bonaventure University.
