John E. White, 78 of 400 Lamb Ave, Canastota passed away Tuesday Nov. 3, 2009, at the Oneida Healthcare Center with his family by his side. John was a longtime resident of North Brookfield moving to Canastota in 1999. He was a truck driver for Ludlow Sand and Gravel in Clayville for 25 years retiring in 1993.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth, a son Joseph (Kelly) White of Moriah, a daughter, Rebecca Hauck of Morrisville, 4 sisters, Ann Heintz and Florence Miller both of Canastota, Lorraine Borgononi of Winter Haven, Fla. And Sharon Lorraine of Liverpool, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by a son John E, Jr. in 1994.
A family burial will be in Whitelaw Cemetery. G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, Chittenango is charge of arrangements.
