10/28/09 Webb, Robert S.
Robert S. Webb, of The Nottingham, Jamesville, passed away Wednesday Oct. 28, 2009, at Crouse Hospital. Born in Montclair, NJ, Mr. Webb resided in Fayetteville 30 years. He graduated from the University of Florida, receiving BEE and MSE degrees. He worked as an electrical engineer in the E-Lab at General Electric for 30 years and retired from Lockheed Martin following their acquisition of General Electric. After his retirement, he worked for Syracuse Research Corp.
Mr. Webb was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Syracuse Chorale. He served in the United States Air Force.
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Mona and a brother William Webb.
Survivors: his daughter, Susan J. Webb of Johannesburg, South Africa; his son, William S. Webb of St. Petersburg, FL; his brother, J. Richard Webb of Williamsburg, VA and his grandson, Mathew S. Webb of Reston, VA.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday Nov. 2 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 106 Chapel St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in White Chapel memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday Nov. 1 at Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville, NY 13066.
