11/01/09 Fiedler, Harold “Butch” Harold “Butch” Fiedler, 93, of Cazenovia, passed away Sunday Nov. 1, 2009, at the Masonic Care Community in Utica. He was born in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy High School. Butch had been a resident of Cazenovia since 1936. He retired as a sales agent from the Prudential Insurance Company. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the Army Air Corp in India. He was a member and past Master of the Cazenovia Masonic Lodge #616 F&AM, a member of the Cazenovia Volunteer Fire Co., the Cazenovia Civic Club, the Cazenovia Golf Club and the Cazenovia Men’s Bowling League. He was pre deceased by his wife Margaret “Peg” in 2002 and his brother Robert. He is survived by a daughter, Frances (Kevin) Kenney of Syracuse and a son, Edward (Madeline) Fiedler of Nishayuna, NY, grandsons Dan, Matt and Adam (Ashley) Fiedler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass: 10:30 a.m. Thursday Nov. 5 in St. James Church, Cazenovia. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 4 with Masonic services at 6 p.m. at the Ayer & Zimmer Funeral Home, 38 Sullivan St. Cazenovia.
