10/20/09 Franza, Leonard Jr.
Leonard Franza Jr., 59, of Elbridge, died Tuesday Oct. 20, 2009, in Auburn Memorial Hospital after becoming ill at home. Born in Syracuse Leonard lived in the Elbridge area for the past 37 years. He was employed at Crucible Specialty Metals for 36 years before retiring in 2006. Leonard was an avid bowler and he loved to fish and hunt.
Surviving are his wife Theresa, daughter Deborah A. Edmunds of Elbridge, a brother Angleo (Donna) Natoli of Syracuse, his aunt Helen Saccone of Syracuse, nieces and nephews.
Services: 7 p.m. Thursday Oct. 22 at the Bush Funeral Home, Elbridge with the Rev. Dr. James Stone officiating. Private burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours: 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home 120 E. Main St. (Route 5) Elbridge.
