10/20/09 Victory, Harold T.
Harold T. Victory, 86, longtime resident of Mattydale, passed away peacefully Tuesday Oct. 20, 2009, at Van Duyn Nursing Home.
He worked for City Pattern Makers for over 25 years as an industrial wood pattern maker. Harold was a semi-pro boxer and an Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Department and of the VFW Post 3146.
Harold was predeceased by his wife, the former Carolyn (Smith), in 1989 and his daughter-in-law, Betty Victory.
Surviving are his children: Rita Brezee, Mark Victory and Paul (Virginia) Victory; brother: William (Rosemary) Victory; as well as eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 W.
