10/20/09 Tanner, Frances M.
Frances M. Tanner, 87, a life resident of Skaneateles, passed away Tuesday Oct. 20, 2009, in Auburn Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Charles H. Tanner who died in 2008.
Frances was a 1940 graduate of Skaneateles High School and she was a long time communicant of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles.
She loved animals and enjoyed plants and gardening. Surviving are her children Charles F.Tanner, Marie T. Caines, Joan Tanner, Patricia A. Laws, Judy L. Willis, Michael Tanner, Thomas F. Tanner, and Casey J. Tanner, brother-in-law Frederick Tanner, 21 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Friday Oct. 23 in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles. The Bush Funeral Home of Elbridge has charge of arrangements.
