10/24/09 Haney, George E.
George E. Haney, 43, of Camillus, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday Oct. 24, 2009.
Born in Syracuse, he was the son of Donald and Rita Haney. He was a graduate of West Genesee High School and Emory Riddle Aeronautical School in Rome. George worked for Carrier Corporation for 15 years and most recently at Mitten Manufacturing in East Syracuse.
Survived by his wife, Karen (Fregin) Haney; two sons, Erich and Matthew Haney; three sisters, Mary Lou Haney, Sharon Kwapezeski and Theresa Kostine; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services: 11 a.m. on Wednesday Oct. 28 at Whelan Bros. & Hulchanski Funeral Home, 3700 W. Genesee St. Burial in Belle Isle Cemetery. Calling hours: from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 27 at the funeral home.
