11/05/09 Wellner, Robert F.
Robert F. Wellner, 85, of Baldwinsville died Thursday Nov. 5, 2009, at University Hospital. He worked for General Electric for several years and retired from Carrier Corp. after 30 years. He was a Navy veteran, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Syracuse. He was pre-deceased by a son, Douglas E. who died in 1976 and a sister, Jean Cameron Wellner. He was an accomplished vocalist.
Survivng: His wife, Flora L. of Baldwinsville; daughter, Susan Loniewski of Lancaster, N.Y.; three sons, Robert B. of MD, David A.of Cicero and Frederick A. of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday Nov. 9 at Gates Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home, 29 W. Genesee Street, Baldwinsville.
