10/24/09 Keefe, James F.
James F. Keefe, 83, of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday Oct. 24, 2009 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Plattsburg, he was a graduate of St. Johns Academy in Plattsburg and a graduate of SUNY Plattsburg and a member of the Plattsburg Alumni Association. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. James worked for Lamson Corp in Eastwood for many years and was the Town of Clay Commissioner of Planning and Development at the beginning of the Rt. 31 Corridor planning project and worked for the Home Builders Association as the coordinator of the warranty program. James was a communicant of St. Johns Church. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Katherine Keefe and a brother John Keefe.
He is survived by his wife Margaret and a brother Rev. Daniel Keefe of Bloomingdale, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday Oct. 28 in St. Johns Church, 8290 Soule Rd., Liverpool, with burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 27 at the Maurer Funeral Home, 3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville.
