Sheridan, 50, of Skyline Drive, Morrisville, was charged with Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a blood alcohol of .08 percent or greater, driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. He is alleged to have possessed a schedule II controlled substance. March 12 Michael E. Romanowski, 28, Lenox Ave. Utica was arrested on charges of Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree, a class E felony and Aggravated Harrasment in the 2nd degree. Simmon, 45, of Dockey Rd., Little Falls was arrested Jan. 20 on a charge of Petit Larceny, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, Failure to notify the DMV of address change and Avoiding a traffic control device. Simmons is alleged to have stolen merchandise from Walmart, left and was located and stopped by Oneida City Police on Washington Ave. Simmons was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $500 to appear Feb. 5. Brookfield man charged with multiple traffic charges Madison County Sheriff Allen Riley reported that Travis A. Buchanan, 31, of Beaver Creek Rd., Brookfield, was charged with multiple Vehicle and Traffic charges after he crashed his four wheel ATV in an apparent attempt to flee a Deputy’s patrol car. At about 2:16 a.m., Jan. 22, a Deputy Sheriff on patrol observed Buchanan on Skaneateles Turnpike in the town of Brookfield operating a four wheel ATV on the highway... Eight injured in two car crash Madison County Sheriff Allen Riley reported that Deputies are continuing their investigation into a two-car crash that injured eight people at the intersection of Rt. 46 and Rt. 20 in the town of Eaton about 7 p.m., Jan. 22. According to Deputies’ reports, a 1994 Chevrolet operated by Dustin J. Conkey, 19, of Horstman Trailer Court, Norwich was traveling in a northerly direction on Rt. 46 when he passed a stop sign at the intersection of Rt. 20. Oneida Police Logs Jan. 15 Oneida City Police are investigating a robbery that took place at about 8:42 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Barbano's Liquor Store on Phelps Street in the City of Oneida. A lone male described as approximately six feet tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored hoodie, possibly dark green in color, and wearing a bandana over his face entered the store and ordered the clerk to get down on the floor. He tied her hands behind her back. The suspect then stole cash from the store and fled. The clerk was not injuyred. Allen, 23, of Edwin St., Chittenango were charged Jan. 8 with Petit Larceny and Conspiracy in the Sixth Degree. The two are alleged to have conspired to engage in larceny of merchandise from WalMart and to have stolen merchandise from WalMart. They will appear in Oneida City Court to answer to the charges. Miles, 24, of Washington Ave., Oneida was arrested on a bench warrant Jan. 4 for allegedly failing to complete community service on a disorderly conduct charge. Miles will appear Jan. 8. Justin M. Meyers, 25, of Conifer Dr., Canastota was charged Jan. 5 with petit larceny. Meyers is alleged to have shoplifted merchandise from WalMart. He will appear Jan. 15. Brian A. Ostrander, 23, of W. Nov. 21 Ashley Schiller, 24, of Conifer Drive, Lenox was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. Trisha Neal, 18, of Briggs Road, Hamilton was arrested on charges menacing in the second degree. Raymond Shlotzhauer, of West Court Street, Rome, was arrested while at the Oneida Police Department on an active probation warrant out of the Town of Sullivan Court. DeRuyter man charged with DWI A DeRuyter man was charged with aggravated DWI, unsafe backing and other traffic offenses after an accident on Oct. 27 at the DeRuyter Senior Housing Apartments. New York State Police in Morrisville were called to investigate a motor vehicle accident at the apartments on Cortland Street in the village of DeRuyter. The investigation revealed that at about 8 p.m., Kenneth L. Mullenax, 65, a tenant of the apartments was trying to park his vehicle in the apartment parking lot, troopers said. Mullenax drove his 1993 Toyota mini-van up over the sidewalk and struck a parking sign, causing extensive damage to the front of his vehicle... |
