Common council to vote on first Justice center funds

Preliminary floor plans for the city of Oneida Justice Center, as presented at the Feb. 17 common council meeting.
The first of what is likely to be many expenditures for the Oneida City Justice center will come before the council Tuesday night. The council will vote on paying $22,700 to design the six-car garage addition that will house police vehicles, according to the preliminary plans presented at the Feb. 17 common council meeting ( See story here ).

The council will also vote on the expenditure of $123,900 for the design of the main building (see image).

Other agenda items include: canvassing of bids for Asbestos Abatement at 106 N. Warner Street, scheduling of public hearings for reconstruction of Shattuck Avenue and West Sands Street, and canvassing of bids for tree and stump removal.
The council also plans on going into executive session to discuss litigation.
