Madison County DeRuyter man charged with DWI A DeRuyter man was charged with aggravated DWI, unsafe backing and other traffic offenses after an accident on Oct. 27 at the DeRuyter Senior Housing Apartments. New York State Police in Morrisville were called to investigate a motor vehicle accident at the apartments on Cortland Street in the village of DeRuyter. The investigation revealed that at about 8 p.m., Kenneth L. Mullenax, 65, a tenant of the apartments was trying to park his vehicle in the apartment parking lot, troopers said. Mullenax drove his 1993 Toyota mini-van up over the sidewalk and struck a parking sign, causing extensive damage to the front of his vehicle... Means, 40, was arrested Oct. 19 on a charge of failure to register address as required as a sex offender, a class E felony. Madison County Woman passes stopped school bus, charged with DWI Morrisville State Troopers arrested Alison N. Mandriota, 18, of Bayport, on Oct. 9 following a traffic stop on State Route 20 in the village of Morrisville. Mandriota was stopped after she passed a Morrisville-Eaton Central Schools school bus that was stopped and had its red lights activated. Mandriota was charged with driving while intoxicated. She was processed at State Police in Morrisville, where a breath sample of .11 BAC% was obtained. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 percent, and passing a stopped school bus. Mandriota was released on tickets to appear in the Village of Morrisville Court on Oct. 21... Madison County Madison County Sheriff's blotter Sept. 23 Scott J. Barrett, 44, of Damen Road, Bridgeport, was arrested on charges of criminal tampering in the third degree in the village of Wampsville. Jessica L. Baker, 34, of Chamberlain Road, Lebanon, was arrested Sept. 23 on charges of petit larceny in the town of Morrisville. Randall J. Hutchings, 20, of Knapp Street, Sherburne, was arrested Sept. 23 on charges of driving while intoxicated, speed violation and unreasonable speed and special hazards. Hutchings was arrested at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. Sept. 24 Roger A. Brocious of Crumb Hill Road, Georgetown, reported a burglary of his residence Sept. 24. Madison County Motorcyclist dies after doing a ‘wheelie’ in Lenox Madison county Undersheriff Doug Bailey reports that deputies are continuing their investigation into a fatal motorcycle-van crash that occurred at about 1:13 p.m. Sept. 19. on New Boston Road in the town of Lenox. The motorcyclist, Joshua P. Smith, 24, of 97 North St., Auburn, was transported to Oneida Healthcare Facility by the Greater Lenox Ambulance Service where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Canastota Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene, while deputies were assisted at the scene by a New York State Police patrol. Smith was operating a motorcycle in westerly direction on the New Boston Road with a large group, estimated to be in excess of at least 2 to 30 motorcycles... On Dec. 14, Baldwinsville Police Officer C. Allen arrested Victoria L. Ujlaky, 28, of 310 Green St., Apt. No. 1 in Syracuse. The investigation revealed that Ujlaky had gone to the residence of her parents and had stolen the items over a period of several weeks. Onondaga County Baldwinsville Police blotter Criminal contempt charged On Oct. 30, Baldwinsville Police Officer C. Allen investigated a suspicious vehicle complaint on Mildred Ave. The investigation revealed that Robert J. Scoville, Jr., 20, of 352 County Route 46, Phoenix, was parking his vehicle down the road from a residence where a stay away order of protection was in place. This was done so that police would not suspect he was at that residence. Scoville was located at the residence and was placed under arrest for second-degree criminal contempt. He was arraigned before Jude E. Huling and bail was set at $2,500 cash/bond.
