I have the distinct advantage of coming from two classes. One who hired housekeepers and one who worked as servants. It’s a great place to come from - upstairs and downstairs with all the landings in between.

In my life I have found myself in both situations. I once lived in the house on the hill, but more often than not I have worked in the service class, which I enjoy thoroughly.

As I have often said, “Service is my life.”
